Shelley Park is located approximately 3.5km (2 miles) to the east of Bournemouth town centre. It is very close to the seafront, Boscombe Pier and has
views across Shelley Park public gardens towards the sea. Sitting at the heart of the South coast, Bournemouth offers an outstanding variety of activities to suit all tastes.
The park forms the backdrop to Grovely Manor, the historic home of the Shelley family which includes the Grade II Listed family theatre, built for Sir Percy Florence Shelley, son of poet Percy Bysshe Shelley and Frankenstein author Mary Shelley.

The small Listed theatre is to be refurbished and brought back into public use along with a newly built cafe-bar/ restaurant.
The historic house is to be converted into a new medical centre for the relocated Adeline Road surgery with other supporting medical facilities and an extensive pharmacy.
Shelley Park is well positioned for Bournemouth town centre and is less than a mile to the A338 dual carriageway which will take you to the M27 and onwards to Southampton and London. Bournemouth International Airport is 6 miles away and offers flights to many parts of the world.
